Dinner & Comedy Show BIOGRAPHY - Pete Michaels Celebrity Ventriloquist may be an unlikely goal to aspire to, but Pete Michaels has earned the title. A native of New York City, his sweeping career spans decades and includes live appearances at major Corporate Engagements, Comedy Clubs, Colleges and Casinos around the country. TV stints include Comedy Central, Conan OBrien, Showtime At The Apollo and many more. He has taught Ventriloquism to Adrien Brody, Judith Roberts and Russy Simmons for the major motion pictures Dummy, Dead Silence and MTVs hit show Runs House. Michaels was TWICE honored at the International Ventriloquist Convention with the W.S. Berger Distinguished Service Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Art of Ventriloquism. Hes made ventriloquism hip again! Biography Actor – Comedian – Entertainer If ever there was a comedian/ magician to be seen, it is Kevin Lee. Kevins unique combination of comedy, magic and juggling leave audiences both in awe and in stitches. Lee, Americas only African American Prop Comic, has appeared on all of the national television stations. He has been seen on five seasons of BETs Comic View Showtime at the Apollo, HBOs Def Comedy Jam, and Jamie Foxxs Uptown Comedy Club, to name a few. Lee was also voted twice Washington DCs Funniest Comedian by Washingtonian Magazine. His distinctive skills have allowed him to share the stage with legends such as Gladys Knight, Chris Rock, Steve Harvey, Whitney Houston, Chris Tucker, Sinbad and Dave Chappelle to name a few! Audiences are wowed by Kevins amazing juggling fire and sword-swallowing comedy. Kevins stage career began at The Comedy Cafe in Washington DC where he placed first in the very first comedy competition he ever entered. Lee moved to Venice Beach, CA, where he honed his craft, building his repertoire of comedy, magic and juggling to audiences of all ages. While in California, Lee became a regular at the worlds famous Comedy Store. He performed for the troops in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm and continues to entertain military bases around the world today, including Korea, Germany, Italy and Japan. Wynton Marsalis featured Lee in his The Magic Hour Tour which sold out from New York to Los Angeles in 2005. Lee, a high-energy, one-of-a-kind performer brings audiences to their feet worldwide. Biography Jon Yeager Jon Yeager is a comedian originally from Baltimore, “but please, don’t hold that against me.” Yeager’s blend of comedy includes satire, whip-smart topical humor, rapid fire one-liners, self-deprecation, wordplay, and, of course, an occasional interpretive dance. He has opened or featured for Dave Coulier, Kevin Lee, Seaton Smith, Jason Weems, Adam Dodd, Justin Schlegel, Mickey Cucchiella, and Andy Kline, just to name a few. He was featured in an article in Baltimore Magazine and was also nominated as Best Comedian in DC in the Washington City Paper’s “Best Of DC” issue. Yeager also hosts and books several showcases, including Rhodeside Grill in Arlington, Little Havana’s in Baltimore, and Comedy Cruises on the Boomerang Party Boat in DC with his comedy and music production company, J+J Productions.
