Counselor galeana tells mrs isabel that federico is very fond of her and that he has realized that the feeling is mutual. Mrs isabel tells him that she is very fond of federico. Mr ernesto tells her he wishes she could love him as much. Leonor, scheming, tells mr federico that counselor galeana is madly in love with isabel and that she returns that love. Mr federico tells her that he is very happy about that because they make a nice couple. Moises and sandra are talking about their plans for her trip. Enriqueta hears them and she tells moises that sandra is still too young and that she needs her to take care of her. Moises warns enriqueta he is going to back his daughter even if that costs him his marriage. Enriqueta tells him that, if sandra goes, she is going with her. Sandra catches ivana and horacio hugging each other and demands an explanation. Horacio tells her that ivana and he love each other and that this is why he broke up with her. Sandra, tearful, tells ivana that she just pretended to be her friend and that she is worse than her cousin; she warns her she is going to regret it. Ivana, furious, tells horacio there was no need for him to tell the whole world about their relationship; that jose miguel knows about it too. Horacio tells her he doesn’t want to go on hiding his love. Ivana tells him she never said she loved him and that whatever they had between them is over. Mr ernesto asks jose miguel about the architect he was going to find for him. Jose miguel tells him that he is an architect and that he can take charge. Mr ernesto tells him that valentina will never agree to that and that, if she ever finds out, they are going to get into trouble. Jose miguel tells him not to tell her about it. Valentina tells iluminada she witnessed what rosendo tried to do to her and that, if he ever tries to do it again, she must tell her at once. Iluminada, grateful, tells her she is very sweet and very kind and that she loves her very much. Sabino, furious, warns valentina she should leave jose miguel alone, that he knows she ordered the killing of his cattle and that, jose miguel may be very decent but he isn’t and he can do the same thing to her.
