COMMUNAL HARMONY I have a suggestion to ensure communal harmony, so as to prevent riots and hate among communities. Every religious place of worship and every religious function should be videographed along with audio of the speeches, by police and the videos monitored for inflammatory speeches, call for violence, anti-national slogans etc. If anything unacceptable is found in the videos the videos should be sent to a high power committee on communal harmony. For examining contents, audio and video, related to speeches in religious places of worships and other religious functions, district level, state level and national level committees should be appointed. If the speeches are found unacceptable by the standards, the speaker should be summoned and issued warning letter along with a small fine. A second repetition of the same by any speaker should attract a higher fine and stricter second warning. If the speaker repeats the same offence a third time, he should be arrested and sentenced to a short period in jail. If the speaker still repeats the offence a fourth time, he should be tried for anti-national activity and imprisoned for many years. The committees on communal harmony should include representatives from all religions, and also from judiciary, atheist groups, retired national honour winners etc. No congregation of people in any place should be without the scrutiny of police IT cell, videographed and audio taped. This system will eliminate over-enthusiastic initiatives and people will learn to behave with responsibility.
