COMMUNICATE. Over communicate. Take the time to clearly lay things out at work and in your relationships outside of work. It can be frustrating at times, especially if youre the entrepreneurial type who is chasing a vision and a project and results are your love language. But people cant get into our head and hear our thoughts. 😉 Thank God! We all know not all of our thoughts are positive! But take time to spell things out. Build a safe culture at work and at home where people can say I dont understand could you please be a bit more clear on that? I need more details. Take deep breaths often. Give people grace. Give yourself grace! We never know what the other guy or gal is going through today and they never know what we are going through either! Most people want to do their best its just that not everyone has learned to communicate well nor have they worked or grown up in an environment where it was safe to ask questions. Ask those questions and then get to work. Dont be a question addict- you know the person who asks a lot of stuff and never does anything. Yuck. No one likes that. But communicate. Smile. Give grace. Pour a cup of coffee for that fellow team member or even your boss who seems a little frazzled today. Bring good ole fashioned caring and understanding to work today. This is not an excuse for hiring B type people. No. We want to work with only rockstars and A type people who get the job done. But heres the deal- you are doing life at work with these people all day long. You live there 40+ hours per week. Lets go the extra mile. Lets believe all things. Lets hope all things. Love covers a bunch of stuff and helps carry the load. Be real. Bring your heart to work today. Be a Special Agent on assignment for God at work. Faith works, at work! #faithatwork #servantleader
