CONGRATULATIONS! ANITA LAWSON a longtime administrative assistant and secretary of the West Virginia University Marching Band office at the Creative Arts Center who admirably assisted many students, faculty ,administrators and visitors of West Virginia University for over 30 years of service has retired as of August 30, 2014. Her friendly and pleasant personality combined with a welcoming and friendly smile greeted many in person and vocally by voice by telephone when contacting the WVU Band office. Thanks to her superb efforts, many will have lasting memories of their great times at West Virginia University and either being a part of the WVU Band or being a patron and supporter of the WVU Band., Since the lives she touched through her yaesr of service are now scattered worldwide, it is only appropriate that on this day Anita Lawson be thanked for her great work and this milestone be shared with others who know Anita! THANKS! AND CONGRATULATIONS!
