CONGRATULATIONS to ALL Boy Scout / Girl Scout In the World Celebrating Scouting Week ( 3 to 9 February 2014) Fraternal greetings and congratulations to all those who are and have been in the Scouting movement . I am honored to have belonged to Troop 55 of Mayagüez and later generations have helped in the way of education and knowledge through scouting. There are many memories that I have of great friendships we share in walks (Mountain State or Monte del Estado, Maricao PR, Lake Guajataka and Phil Mont ) camps in Lajas, Guajataka , Phil Mont Scout Reservation Schiff and the National Scout Jamboree 1977. Assist in environmental conservation and history is part of the projects and work of listening, no matter the place, much less age. Thanks to the vision of whom was Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden -Powell (Lord Baden -Powell), founder of scouting movement in England in 1907. Always remember : Scout oath On my honor, I will do my best To do my duty to God and my country , To obey the Scout Law , To help people at all times , To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
