Im very happy to report that the implants work! The bad new is that I have to have them removed on Monday, and I cant get the permanent implant until the 25th, if they saved that date. If they gave that date away, then Ill have to wait until late October. So, its back to the pain again after 11:30 on Monday!! I have a tingling sensation in my trunk, from my waist to the tips of my toes. I was finally able to stand up today, and move from my wheelchair to the toilet without excruciating pain in my right leg. I think that the permanent implants will be the answer. I have to be very careful how I move, because I cant disturb all of these electrodes that were inserted with a needle. I think I was stuck about 12 times. My whole back is covered in tape, and Im not allowed to shower; just sponge baths. Im sure that Ill smell like a goat by the time I see the doctor on Monday. So, Ill miss another day at work, and I just cant afford to keep missing work like this! Im going back to my recliner, but I thought that you might like to hear how the procedure went (ouch) and how the electrodes are working. Chatty, over and out!! :)
