Todays Events #goptions GM General Motor will publish its earnings report before market open. Eps (earnings per share) estimate 0.99$ has dropped in the past month meaning Wall Street has become more bearish in regards to company’s results. GM produces and sales around 2.5 million cars year by year and would be interesting to see the number at this report. Another interesting number will be the recall figures (GM had to take back over 2 million cars with defective ignitions in which several people also died). Lower than expected recalls alongside more sales should push stock up and create call opportunities. Technical view that’s suggested by weekly chart shows an initial down trend channel in which price just bounced on support line. Amazon Amazon will publish earnings report after market close. EPS estimate around -0.73 $ as the company continues investing in long term growth strategies and an interesting number will be new sortation centers which help Amazon distribute supplies in a smaller time frame. Another interesting number would be the amount invested in Video content trying to challenge Netflix. Technical view on 1 hr chart suggests price on resistance line on a downtrend channel.
