CONNECTICUT TAKE ACTION, from GMO Free CT: Happy New Year to all of you. It is a New Year and a new legislative session. We have big plans for 2015, but in order to achieve success, we need your help. The deadline to file bills is Friday, January 16th. We have commitments from our legislative champions to file a bill to ban the sale of and use of Genetically Engineered Grass Seed and a bill to strip the trigger clause from the CT GMO Labeling Law that was passed in 2013. We want as many introductory sponsors as possible. PLEASE call your legislators today and ask them to sponsor these bills that are critical to the health and sustainability of CT citizens and the environment. If your legislator agrees to sign on, tell them to reach out to Representative Jonathan Steinberg or Representative Fred Camillo.
