CONSIDER THIS ON THIS DAY: silence & patience does exist Yeah the day comes when we finally are tired of the situation and have prayed all the prayers that could be mustered and have sang all the sad sad songs which could be hummed. We finally find ourselves sitting in since. Silence is a good thing in the quick moving world. Sometimes we need to stop trying to keep up with world and find the pace and direction God has planned put for our days. Yeah......it will take some time. All good things take time. And to understand any good thing, time has to be set out for that particular thing. In Habakkuk 2, we find the prophet sitting and waiting on direction from God. This was after he had focused on Earthly things and had gotten fed up with the state of life for his people & family and the effects all of it was having upon the job he was called to do. This is one of those days. You must take 10 minutes out of this noisy day and sit in silence. Not humming. Not praying. Just listening for the directions He has been trying to speak into your soul and into your day. READ Habakkuk 2:1-5 make this day the day you bind up all the noise and listen for that still small voice
