Details below: Dynamic Movement Assessment™ Level I – Fundamentals of Movement University of Kansas Medical Center University of Kansas Medical Center will be hosting a 2-day continuing education course on the Dynamic Movement Assessment™. The Dynamic Movement Assessment™ (DMA™) is an athletic biomechanical analysis designed to objectively quantify pathological movement associated with increased risk for injury and decreased athletic performance. It is a progressive assessment that uses latest technology to film and score 6 essential movements. This course (Level I - Fundamentals of Movement) is a 2 day course presented by the founder and developer of the DMA™. This course will provide a background in what is normal movement, what is pathological movement and how you assess pathological movement using the DMA™. Participants will also learn how to influence movement with manual techniques, neuromuscular retraining and therapeutic exercise. This is a very interactive course and participants should dress accordingly.
