CORE! Today I am showing a hinge back, which is a pretty intense core exercise. Disclaimer: This exercise is not appropriate if you have trouble bearing weight on your knees, because this is in the kneeling position. FORM IS VERY IMPORTANT for this exercise! You must have a good grasp of the navel to spine and plank concepts to fully appreciate and benefit from this particular movement. I recommend doing 10 reps...they are intense if performed correctly...for 3 sets. This is a good addition to your regular core routine, or as an active rest on an upper body day. As this also engages the quads, hamstrings and glutes, you can add this in on a leg day as a superset with squats and lunges.
