***CORIANDER IS AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO ADOPT!*** A volunteer writes:My handsome friend, named after a yummy spice, is every bit as yummy as his name. Happy to be going out, he peed enough to raise the Hudson River by 5 inches so hes likely housetrained. He pulls on the leash until he goes, and after walking for a few minutes, he settles into a nice pace. Hes friendly to all, loving people and wagging his tail happily when anyone gives him attention. Posing for photos like a rockstar, he didnt mind being tethered, makes soft eye contact and sweeps treats gently from my hand. We enjoyed some cuddle time on the bench, Coriander cuddling in my lap and giving kisses. Quietly friendly and loving, hes an awesome cuddle partner! Off leash in a pen he greets other dogs through the gate quietly and respectfully, is low key and calm. He chases after a tennis ball with glee, bringing it back for another toss and letting me take it out of his mouth with no issue. Found as a stray, but clearly having enjoyed the benefits of a home, Coriander is polite, kind, gentle and sweet. Hes looking for a cuddle partner with whom to live happily ever after. If youre lucky, it could be you!! Another volunteer writes: WE LOVE THIS DOG! Gentle, easy, affectionate and quietly tail waggy, Corianders kennel card is already filled with accolades from volunteers who have met and walked him. Hes easy to be with, happy to receive attention gently laying his head in my lap, and purring with enjoyment. Hes a super cuddler, but not overbearing, happy to greet other dogs, and doing well in doggie play groups. Happy to be out, happy to go potty, happy to put on a coat against the chill air, Coriander is just quietly happy to be with friends, whether two legged or four. Hes currently accepting applications for his new home, and hopes youll fill one out today. Hes a sweetheart! Another volunteer writes:Coriander, my welcome and much needed respite from walking the more boisterous pups. Always ready for a snuggle and a kiss, good on the leash and likely housetrained, Coriander is nicely behaved, gentle, and well mannered.He sits when asked to, leans in for some petting, and its clear from all the great comments on his walking log that Im not the only volunteer who thinks so. Accolades from great dog to what a sweetheart are plentiful and well deserved!! He does well in play groups, accepting correction from other dogs if needed, and ignoring dogs that get too rowdy.
