CORPS MEMBER DONATES BORE-HOLE The Management of the Federal University of Technology, Akure has commended one of the corps members serving in the University for providing a bore-hole for the postgraduate hostel. Speaking at the commissioning of the project, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development) Professor Tolulope Akinbogun who was represented by the University’s Director of Works, Engr. Kehinde Bamisile described the project as a commendable service to humanity. He said the Youth Corps member, Miss Olaoluwa Esther Ogunsuyi, had contributed immensely to the development of FUTA thereby writing her name in gold. He urged other corps members serving in the University and in the state to emulate her good gesture. Also speaking, the Director, Health Services, Dr. Tayo Adenikinju described the gesture as an indelible mark in the University. He described Miss Ogunsuyi as dedicated to the well-being of Nigerians, adding that she had earlier, as part of community service, coordinated the donation of 83 pints of blood to the Mother and Child Hospital, Akure. She also organized a capacity building seminar for students of the Ondo State School of Health Technology. The corps member, Miss Olaoluwa Esther Ogunsuyi appreciated the University Management and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Ondo State Directorate for allowing her to contribute to the development of the University and serve her fatherland. She said she would continue to contribute her quota to the development of humanity wherever fate takes her.
