CORRUPTION IN DELTA GOVERNMENT HOUSE AS TONY OBUH INSTALLS HIS STOOGE TO COVER UP HIS CORRUPT PRACTICES. As a way to cover up his fraudulent activities during his tenure as Permanent Secretary Government House, Mr. Tony Obuh has used his influence to lobby for the appointment of his boy, and cohort, Mr. Benson Oboroh as Permanent Secretary Goverment House. This he achieved by convincing the Governor Dr. Uduaghan that Mr Benson will convinently cover up their missdeeds and corrupt activities in goverment House. Until his appointment as P.S., Mr Benson a level 13 admin officer, was the Private Secretary to the governor and a signatory to government house account. He is alleged to have followed Obuh from SSGs Office to government house. Due to the high level of corruption and financial recklessness that characterized the Tony Obuhs regime as P.S government house, it became neccessary for him{Tony} to shop for a replacement that can cover his corrupt activities and that of his boss the governor. It is a verifiable fact that when Tony Obuh resigned, he refused to hand over to any of the senior officers in government house and protocol, instead he handed over to Same Mr. Benson, a level 13 officer. This is a fundermental breach of the civil service rules which allows the most senior civil servant to take over the helms of affairs at the retirement or resignation of a serving Permanent Secretary. It is on record that they are about 6 officers senior to Mr. Benson in government house including a very senior Director one Dr. Anthony Nwokolobia and Mr. Kingsley Olumukoro, Chief Protocol to the governor who is next in rank. It is ridiculous to have a very senior civil servant, like Tony Obuh subvert the civil service rules just to protect his personal intrest, yet he is shamelessly going about singing that he wants to be governor of Delta state A man who had justice perverted as P.S, who promoted juniors above seniors in other to protect his corrupt activities, will do worse when given opportunity to govern the entire State. More shameful is the letter writeen to the Accountant General of the State by Mr. Tony Obuh requesting the A.G. to have only Mr. Benson to sign and counter sign goverment House cheques. Where on earth under accounting principles is one man allowed to sign and counter sign cheques ment for government accounts. This can only happen in Delta government house under the watchful eyes of fraudulent Tony Obuh. In other to achieve his evil purpose, in that letter to the A.G., he threw his intergrity to the mud and described Mr. Benson as the most senior officer in goverment house, knowing fully well that they are other senior officers above the rank of Mr. Benson. He prefered a junior officer of level 13 over senior officers of 14, 15 and 16. This is indeed shameful. How can a man with this kind of lax intergrity ever think of becoming the governor of our dear State. Considering the misdemeanors of Tony Obuh, it is to my mind that he is either inept or wicked. If he claims that he is not corrupt, as his overzelous defenders will like to say, does it now mean that a senior civil servant like Tony Obuh is ignorant of the civil service rules? Obviously no. His actions were delibrately designed to cover up his fraudulent activities in government house. Tony Obuh as chief accounting officer of government house, is reacher than somany commissioners, but as an old civil servants, he pretends about his wealth. {Stolen wealth}. EFCC.
