COUNCIL TO MEET The Clinton City Council will meet Tuesday, Dec. 2, 6 p.m., at City Hall, 105 East Ohio. There will be approval or correction of the minutes of the open city council meeting held on Nov. 18. Personal appearances will be by Henry County Health Center Administrator Bonnie Glass. Public Works Committee Report includes the following: 1. Energy Efficiency Consultant Selection: Committee recommends beginning negotiations with Johnson Controls. 2. Annexation application process: Reviewed draft materials to establish an application process. Will discuss at Dec. 9th meeting. 3. 320 North 4th Street demolition: Schedule a work session on Jan. 5 with Planning Commission to discuss non-conforming lots and redevelopment on lots with a lien. 4. Vansant sewer line update: Reviewed progress on project. Recommend the city proceed with agreements for sewer line participation. Resolution Nos. 27-2014, 28-2014, 31-2014, 29-2014, 30-2014. 5. Department updates include the following: *Cemetery: A number of services recently; still mulching leaves; December will have one part-time and two full-time; January-Feb. 2-full-time only. *Community Development: Street light program is continuing; construction at EOC continuing; several new businesses about to open; several existing businesses expanding. *Parks and Recreation: Youth basketball is beginning; Wagoner West dug-outs under construction; bids out for ADA doors and ATV; city will review policies and agreements with Henry County Fair Board; projector repairs and sound system adjusted at Benson Center. *Street: ‘03 dump truck being repaired; picking up leaves; discussion regarding intersection of DZF, Harrison Road and Raysik’s; still working on priority list for street repairs. *Wastewater: WWTP construction progressing; may have found some parts for sludge truck repairs; charger being installed on vac truck; vac truck auxiliary engine repaired. Finance Committee Report includes the following: 1. Review Oct. 31st month-end revenue and expense reports. 2. Property and casualty insurance renewals. 3. Employee health challenge.
