**COURTESY CROSSPOST - LOCATED IN BROOKLYN** We were contacted this week by Yolanda, a Social Worker who recently received an urgent plea from one of her clients because they desperately need to re-home two of their family dogs due to New York City Housing regulations. Rambo, the grey & white pit, is only 9 months old, up to date on his Rabies vaccinations & is neutered. Rambo knows basic commands and is house trained. Tazz, the brown pit/lab mix, is 8 months old, up to date on his Rabies vaccinations, is house trained, but is NOT neutered. Both dogs are very playful and strong, and would do best in a home with an active owner. Rambo and Tazz are dog and kid friendly (they both currently live with children) and have been fine with strangers. Rambo is also cat friendly. We have been told the owner currently keeps the dogs tied to the kitchen pole for several hours a day because they do not have the time for how active these dogs are. This is obviously not an ideal situation for any dog, but please refrain from commenting negatively!! The owners are trying to find loving homes for these dogs and do not want to see them end up at ACC. Yolanda, the social worker who reached out to us, is fielding all inquiries for this family.
