CPIML (Liberation) Bangalore City Committee held an activists meeting on 4th Jan.remembering Com. Vinod Mishra, former General Secretary of the party. The meeting discussed the present political situation and the role of the party. Resolved to fight the corporate, communal fascist Modi government in the centre, anti-people Congress government in the state and to strive for a Revolutionary Left Alternative. It was also decided to strengthen the party organization so as to make the party sufficiently equipped to counter the rightwing ascendancy in the country. The meeting was addressed by Shankar Cpiml, Central Committee Member of the party, Appanna, SLTM, Rati Rao, all India Vice-President of All India Progressive Womens Association (AIPWA) also addressed the gathering while Putte Gowda, City secretary of CPIML presided over the meeting. Dr. Venkataramaiah Lakshminarayana, state convener of IIMS (Indian Institute of Matxist Studies), spoke on Strategies to counter communal commumal fascism.
