CR7 fans attack Michel Platinis house with 61 balls in support of the Portuguese stars Ballon dOr bid. The Ballon dOr ceremony on January 12 is fast approaching, coming this Monday, and Cristiano Ronaldo fans are most confident that the Portuguese star will win the prize in Zurich. Scoring a whopping 61 goals during the 2014 calender year, winning the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and Fifa Club World Cup, the Real Madrid attacker appears favorite to clinch the coveted award for a second consecutive year. UEFA president Michel Platini, who has openly admitted that he feels a German should win the award, back in October hinted that Ronaldo would not be a worthy winner if he is named recipient of the Ballon dOr, saying: “The Ballon d’Or tends to go to a player who has performed exceptionally well at the World Cup, someone who won it. So this year it should be for a Germany player. It was always that way until 2010 when Leo Messi won despite having a fairly average World Cup, so nothing is for certain.” Some really dedicated Ronaldo fans have now reacted. What did they do? They grabbed 61 balls, one for each of the 29-year-old aces goals last year, and kicked them at Platinis house in Paris. The attack on the UEFA presidents house, which occurred at around 02:50 oclock at night as shown in the video, was later uploaded onto social media before going viral. The footage shows proof that property damage was inflicted, with noise of a shattered window being heard in the background. Watch the video below.
