Thank God for such amazing news. My husband called home from work to congratulate Bianca for winning the DaVita Childrens Foundation International Scholarship. My husband just called from work to tell me that the corporates of the scholarship foundation arrived at Erics facility and pulled out everyone from work. They just started reading an essay, which was the one that Bianca wrote. At that time, my husband was just part of the crowd, listening to the essay being read. He still was not informed what the gathering was about, but he said that the essay sounded familiar. After reading the essay, the corporates informed everybody that it was the winning recipients essay, and that they wanted to award the scholarship to Bianca through her father. They put a lei around my husband and a sash, then took pictures of him with the award. When he called us, he was shaking of joy, and we could hear his excited coworkers in the background congratulating him. We were really praying for this scholarship but we knew it would be challenging to receive it, because there are so many applicants worldwide. We are so thankful for this, good Lord. Were so proud of you, Bianchie!
