CRICKET: Afghanistan have beaten Namibia comprehensively by 10 wickets in the ICC Intercontinental first class match at the Wanderers Cricket Ground, Windhoek. It was a prolific performance by the Afghan team led from the front by Mohammad Nabi. Namibia were 164 runs behind in the first innings & they could not cope up with this pressure & kept on loosing wickets in their second innings as well which ended just 4 runs ahead of the deficit. Izatullah Dawlatzai once again wrecked havoc through the Namibian tail by claiming his first hat-trick in the first class format. He ended with another fifer of 5/23. Nabi, Shapoor, Rehmat, Samiullah & Dawlat all claimed a wicket each amongst themselves. Afghanistan will now play Namibia in the two one day matches scheduled on 9th & 11th of this month at the same ground which is a part of ICC World Cricket League Championship.
