CRIME UPDATE: 1. A Gold Mazda Premacy was stolen from outside a house on Jones Street, Royton last night between the hours of 21:00 and 08:20. The offender entered the property via an unlocked back door and stole the keys for the vehicle along with a Samsung laptop. 2. A house was burgled late yesterday afternoon at around 3:00pm on Arthur Street, Shaw. Whilst the home owners were upstairs, the offender entered the house via the insecure front door and made off stealing a Blackberry phone and a Purse. 3. A shoplifter was detained after stealing 3 bottles of spirits from The Co-operative Store on Rochdale road yesterday. Staff caught up with the shop lifter after they made no attempt to pay and they handed over 2 bottles of stolen spirits, the offender returned and the Police were called and the offender was detained.
