"CRYSTAL RIVER -- The future of Three Sisters Springs is the topic of a public workshop scheduled for Thursday night. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is considering limiting access to the springs. Right now, visitors can only access it by water, but an increase in traffic has officials looking at ways to preserve the environment of the springs. One proposal involves only letting a certain number of people in each hour, but nothing has been decided yet. The public workshop is 6-9 p.m. at the Magnolia ballroom at the Plantation Inn and Golf Resort, located on West Fort Island Trail in Crystal River.
