Ok this is how I feel- No games are meaningless I get it-But I would rather have rested players full charged for a playoff push, then to run our starters out there every night till Postseason. The problem in 2012 was just that, the guys had no juice left for a real run and we were eliminated quickly. The first series is Home Field for us anyways Vs Detroit or KC..The only possible series that we wouldnt have home field if we dont pass the Angels is the ALCS,but as I recall the Orioles are just as good if not better on the road then home. I get it Home field is better in many aspects,but if we went on the road and won the World Series is home field as well because of the All-star game. So dont get so hell bent if we dont pass the Angels and Buck is giving these guys a break. I would much rather be rested and take advantage of fresh batteries then run down starters. Just my .02¢
