CSEC and the NSA have messed up our random number generator - TopicsExpress

CSEC and the NSA have messed up our random number generator standards. Presumably, this implies that a less chaotic RNG is being used. A different algorithm. One with a pattern which they can crack. This pisses me off for security reasons on behalf of the entire tech industry, but it can also warp our results in computer science, from simulations to artificial neural networks, which I believe to be the greater offense. Computer nerds, am I wrong?
