Alan Dzagoev opened the scoring for the visitors in the 39th minute but Georgi Peev ensured the home side went level on the stroke of half-time. However, Zoran Tosic (55) and Seydou Doumbia (82) scored after the break to claim victory and close the gap on Zenit, although the leaders still have a game in hand. Elsewhere, Dynamo Moscow held off Rostov to claim a 3-2 victory. Aleksei Ionov scored twice inside 17 minutes, with Aleksandr Kokorin (68) looking to have sealed a comfortable win before Artem Dzjuba (75) and Yoo Byung-soo (85) scored to set up a nervy finish. In the other game, Krasnodar claimed a 1-0 win at Volga Nizhny Novgorod thanks to Aris 15th-minute effort.
