CSPAN 11/6/ SENATE FINANCE COMMITTEE WITH KATHLEEN SEBELIUS, SECRETARY OF HHS: Sen Pat Toomey, Repub, PA: telling scenarios of letters he got, like one from a guy whos premiums will triple up to $836/month, etc. Person, so the I can keep my plan or have a plan is true, but I cant afford it. Toomey is going further into folks losing their doctors, etc. He tells her about a woman whos medications cost $4000/mo. and who is a small business owner......Toomey called this woman........she only had 2 options through exchange.......neither option would allow her to keep her doctor and pharmacy paid for---each one would only do one of these things. To sebelius: are you going to make changes so that the promises you and the President made will actually BE kept? Anser by sebelius: going into the same old claptrap about how it used to be on open market........and how if she got this obamacare up and running...might make it better. Toomey: stopped her and said: the ACA, as designed, will NOT do this, such as the grandfathering clause, and wants to know if shell reinstate grandfathering.........Sebelius answer: blathering on about their framework built in.......again, no answer.
