CSPAN CLASSROOM: President John F. Kennedy - Life, Death, Legacy For the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22nd, 1963, C-SPAN Classroom has aggregated a number of video resources to help your students learn more about the day, his life, and the major events of his presidency. Students can learn about the life and accomplishments of President Kennedy in a short biographical vignette, as well as view historical newsreel footage of The Cuban Missile Crisis and President Kennedy’s 1961 Inaugural Speech. They may also view non-graphic footage of those events in Dallas, Texas 50 years ago, and hear reaction to President Kennedy’s assassination through historical analysis.
