CUBE - La Tragedie de Carmen Audition Date: Oct 28th, 8:00pm Category: Non-Equity Audition - Pay: Yes CUBE is holding auditions for the role of ESCAMILLO (bass-baritone) for its production of La Tragedie de Carmen directed by Reshmi Hazra, to be produced at Den Theatre March 28h-April 13th 2014. Auditions to be held at Roosevelt University on Monday October 28th at 8pm. We will also hold auditions to understudy the roles of CARMEN (mezzo), MICAELA (soprano), DON JOSE (tenor) Compensation for your work will be provided if cast. Time Commitment: Rehearsals to begin November 4th with a break for Thanksgiving, resuming mid-December and a break for the holidays continuing into January-March. Music Rehearsals November:Monday nights 6pm-9pm December: 10,11 (6pm-9pm), 14 (10am-12pm) 16,17,18 (6pm-9pm) Holiday Break January: Monday nights 6, 13, 20, 27th (6-9pm) February: Monday nights 3, 10, 17, 24 (6-9pm) March: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday rehearsals (TBD) Tech: March 25th-27th Open: March 28th Close: April 13th Material To Prepare: 1 aria or artsong in French. Please bring your score and an accompanist will be provided.
