CUP OF COFFEE VS. COFFEE ENEMA to my thinking friends and acquaintances on fb: Of the religious bodies that eschew the use of caffeine, particularly the drinking of caffeinated drinks, several have naturopathic and medical practitioners among them who use coffee enemas to help stimulate the liver health, to the tune of at least 1 a day for maintenance up t 6 a day for the terminally ill. My question: After a pages deep search on bing, I have found no comparative report of the benefits vs. dangers of the two practices side by side, and wonder if anyone can shed light and reference on the subject? Please do not attempt personal preference or canned answers; I would seriously like to find out what the difference in effect is between ingestion and infusion. It is well known that stimulants and medications taken as a suppository have a stronger systemic effect at a swifter rate than when taken orally, the possible exception being when taken as an inhalant. If this is so with caffeine, then the enematic use would seem a greater health concern than ingestion.
