CURLEY TO PLAY FOR LAX CHAMPIONSHIP ...FRIDAY 5:15 PM AT TOWSON UNIVERSITY Curley was down 5-1 at the end of the first quarter. Whatever Coach Ogle said to them before the 2nd quarter had a terrific impact. Curley scored 11 unanswered goals and went on the beat Gerstell Academy in the MIAA B Conference semi-final 20-8. Curley will meet Sts. Peter & Paul on Friday in the Championship Game at Johnny Unitas Stadium at Towson University at 5:15 PM. Curley beat the Sabres twice this year, but both games went into overtime and both wins were by one goal. Sts. Peter & Paul is the two-time defending B Conference champion. Garrett Reynolds finished the day with five goals and two assists, while Anthony Scarpola and Peter Vasilas finished up the afternoon with four goals each. Ryan Bell had two goals and five assists. Morgan McColgan had two goals and Matt Pezzella had one.
