Cabinet approves promotion of officers JAMMU, FEBRUARY 01: The Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah accorded sanction to the promotion of Mr. Khurshid Ahmad Ganai, to the fixed scale of IAS (Rs. 80, 000) w.e.f. 08.01.2014. The Cabinet also accorded sanction to the promotion of IAS officers Mr. Vinod Koul, Mr. Gazzanfar Hussain and Mr. Ghulam Hassan Tantray to the Super Time Scale of IAS (Rs. 37400-67000+GP of Rs. 10,000) w.e.f. 01.01.2014. The Cabinet also approved promotion of 23 officers of J&K Accounts Service to the Special Scale of Rs. 37,400-67000+GP of Rs. 8700 w.e.f 31.12.2013. It also approved promotion of 47 officers of J&K Accounts Service to the Selection Grade of Rs. 15,600-39,100+GP of Rs. 7600 w.e.f. 31.12. 2013. The Cabinet also approved regularization of 21 in charge Directors as Directors in the Animal Husbandry Department. The Cabinet also accorded sanction to the creation of additional staff for J&K Legal Services Authority including 01 post of Under Secretary, 04 posts of Head Assistants and 10 posts of Senior Assistants. The Cabinet also approved promotion of 9 officers of J&K Social Welfare (Gazetted) service to the Time Scale of Rs. of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (Rs. 15,600-39,100+ GP of 6600). The officers include Mr. Mohammad Subhan, Mr. Ghulam Ahmad, Mr. Mohammad Farooq, Ms. Sonali Arun Gupta, Mr. Atul Gupta, Ms. Kanchan Bala, Mr. Tsering Paldan, Mr. Zubair Hussain Shah and Ms. Ritu Mahajan.
