Cactus alert!! If you live locally and like blooming cacti, there are ZILLIONS of prickly pear cactus (both yellow & pink) blooming on the lower part of Little Park Rd., as you start heading up the hill. Also, go to the Western Colorado Botanical Garden NOW. The chollas, prickly pear & several other cacti species are blooming and they are gorgeous. The ice plants are also carpets of color, and lots of lillies in the lilly pond. Go check it out, well worth the admission price.
