Caitlin asks - Im wondering if anyone has successfully changed their diet and seen improvement in their babys allergy symptoms. My almost 4 month old daughter is EBF. While she is otherwise healthy and has gained weight normally, she has developed eczema/rash, pinpricks of blood in her stool, and sometimes green stool, which leads her pediatrician to believe shes allergic to something in my breastmilk. For the past two weeks, Ive cut out all dairy and soy products. Initially, I thought things were improving, but today I found blood in her stool again. Im wondering if anyone successfully changed their diet and saw their babys symptoms improve? If she isnt better by the end of April, her doctor wants to put her on a hypoallergenic formula, which really upsets me.
