Cajun Green Beans By: David Triche 1/2 stick Butter 1 large Onion , chopped 1 (8 oz.) pkg. fresh Mushrooms, sliced thin 3 (14.5-ounce) cans Green Beans, drained 1 (14.5-ounce) can Chicken Broth 1 (10 1/2-ounce) can Cream of Mushroom Soup 1 (2.8 oz.) pkg. French Fried Onions 1 tsp. Beazells Cajun Seasoning 1 cup finely grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese, or more Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add the onions and mushrooms and sauté until soft, approximately 20 minutes on medium heat, stirring often. In a pot, add green beans and chicken broth and bring to a slow boil. Reduce heat to a simmering boil and cook for 20 minutes. (DO NOT DRAIN BROTH). Add the green beans, mushroom soup, onion rings and Cajun seasoning to the onion mixture and stir well. Pour into a greased baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes (uncovered). Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese on top. Place back into oven and bake until cheese is melted. Enjoy!
