Calfire has expanded its evacuation advisory for the following areas: Advisory All residents within the boundary of Miners Ranch Road from Oro Bangor Highway to Oroville Quincy Highway (Hwy 162), Oroville Quincy Highway to Forbestown Road, Hurleton Swedes Flat Road to Swedes Flat Road. The following is the latest fire update from Calfire: Incident Name: Swedes Location: Swedes Flat Road and Chinese Wall Road Incident Date & Report Time: 08-16-2013 4:32 Incident Type: Vegetation Cause: Under Investigation Acres: 1,200 % Containment: 20%Estimated Containment: 08-18-2013 Injuries: none Structures Destroyed: One residence, one garage and three outbuildings Vehicles/Equipment Destroyed: This assessment has not been completed Structures Damaged: This assessment has not been completed Equipment: Hand Crews4Dozers 6Engines 28Air Tankers2Helicopters1 Air Tactical: 1 Water Tenders 7 Overhead Personnel 23 Total Personnel: 208 Current Situation: Fire crews continue to aggressively attack the fire that was wind driven into steep terrain with areas of heavy brush overnight. Advisory Evacuations notices are being issued. See evacuations below. Road Closures: Swedes Flat Road Evacuations: Mandatory -Chinese Wall Road, Swedes Flat Road from Chinese Wall Road to Oro Bangor Highway, Fox Lane, Romo Road, Nichols Ranch Road, Spring Creek Road, Cole Lane, Cornett Lane, Mission Crest Drive, Rutherford Lane and the east side of Oro Bangor Highway from Swedes Flat to Mission Crest.
