California litter #10.....Induced today. Black Himalayan sow x Vargas Sable/sepia with white spot sow 3.5oz Sable/sepia agouti and white boar 4 oz Black Boar 3.5 oz Sable/sepia agouti and white sow 4 oz. Induced at 1:15pm and finished at 2:45m Baby number one was pretty easy, just a little pop of the sack and then a tug on the head and the baby was out. Ten minutes later baby #2 was taking a big of time presenting itself, with some help and massage, enough came out to see..... an EAR. Not what I wanted to see. Her next big push, I really held her sides and the baby started out, top of the head first, another ear and finally out with its head tucked under and he was fine. The next baby shot out like a rocket. Baby number 4 came about 15 minutes later, after the sow had a snack and a rest in her cage. $ healthy perfect babies. This breeding shows Vargas genes, he has an Agouti gene and a self gene, a silver gene, and he also carries white spotting. Vargas himself has a very small white spot on his forehead. All have normal toes, like their dad.
