Call For Entries : - “Adda” a socio-cultural organisation dedicated to film & art invites entries from filmmakers for participation in the “10th Adda Short Film Festival 2013” to be held in Guwahati, the gateway of Northeast India. Films based on fiction and animation with maximum 15 minutes of duration and non-fiction with maximum duration of 30 minutes would only be accepted. Deadline : The last date for submission of entries is 25th November, 2013. Submissions of films : Films, which were made after 20th October 2012, could be submitted. The works have to be submitted in DVD format (Two DVD copies). The previewed copy will not be returned and shall be preserved in Adda’s Archive. On the submitted copies the name of the Producer, Director and the title of the film have to be indicated with other details. Entry Form : Please use one entry form per film.One filmmaker can send more than one film. Subtitles : If the film is not originally in Assamese then it must have English subtitles on the copy that is used for screening. Additional documentation : • 30 words (minimum) synopsis/summary which may be used in the official catalogue, plus any printed production notes and other festival screening,awards (if any). • Director‘s Bio-filmography • Credits list • Please send a portrait of the director and in minimum two stills of the film, which are suitable for printing. That means: - photos data with 300 dpi with a size of at least 8 x 10 cm. • All additional documentation should be sent in a data CD format or by e-mail. Fee : There is a non-refundable entry fee of Rs.300/- for Screening Section for and Rs. 500/- for Competition Section for each entry. The entry form/application will be considered only on receipt of above fee by cash or Demand Draft or Cheque(A/C pay) or money transfer in favour of Adda (A/C – 30248699365) payable at Guwahati(SBI Gitanagar, Ghy).
