Call for Applications: SOAR Outreach Advisory Committee (OAC) Deadline: Friday - October 31, 2014 Application: https://eee.uci.edu/survey/OAC_2014 The Student Initiated Academic Preparation (SIAP) Grants and Sponsorship are offered by the Student Outreach and Retention (SOAR) Center to provide funding to registered undergraduate student organizations that are seeking the implement projects that focus on increasing the academic achievement and development of underrepresented students. Consideration is given to projects that are designed to increase the eligibility and college attendance rates of under-served students in Title I junior and high school students and community colleges. Through the SIAP Grants, undergraduate students have the opportunity to make a deep impact, empower and motivate pre-university students to excel academically and develop a passion for learning.
