For the benefit of the doubts: August 3, 2014 4:00 pm pacific standard time I made a post on this group about not having enough CPA in the Philippines which other countries can, I compare this in US because that is where I live and know better. This was a routine post, same when I’m posting in other fb pages, YouTube and other social networks. I did not meant to inflame anger and don’t deserve too much attention. The discussion with professionals were so interesting and I love it. There are a lot of smart people on this group, I did reply their question politely with respect. Some professionals made some hasty comments and I’m also guilty as charged. A good wakeup call for all of us, professionals. HOWEVER, there are also non-professional in this group that discredit and disrespect my opinion, they are intended to attack me, I did fire back. About my prior manager Roel Torres leaving the group: After he posted into the wall, he contacted me, we still have an opposite views, and he still think I’m wrong and I stand my grounds but the RESPECT is there. We talked and apologized each other for some comments made. I convince him to stay because he is a TAX expert and practitioner and will help a lot of people in this group but my effort failed. I do respect his decision to leave. He also mention about Noel, I acknowledge his help to this group and hoping he will continue to do so. Now for the record, I’m not an active member of PICPA since Philippine CPA license is no use in US. That is also the other point I’m fighting for. I think this is enough and put closures to the unsettled minds, now lets talk business, IT and accounting... congrats to all recent passers, I still think 1K is not enough.
