She is a resident of Jiaga Ka Tibba a village near Manga Mandi 16 km away from Riawand. Her parents are really old so they dont work. Her second born brother is a student of BA and he also do labor work, mainly farming, to support his family. His name is Asghar AllahDita. Monthly income is 11 to 12 thousand Rupees, and he has 7 people dependent on him including himself. Shumaila came to Jinnah Hospital with her sister Suriya. Was referred to an ENT specialist in Jinnah Hospital, Dr. Faheem Awan. He referred her to Dr Nadeem Mukhtaar, who runs the Audiology Centre located in Liberty Homes, Lahore. He thoroughly evaluated her case for free. Dr Faheem Awan overviewed the reports and both Doctors are of the opinion that Shumaila is an ideal candidate for Cochlean Implant, which costs around 12 lakhs Pakistani Rupees.
