Called 911 because of a lovely domestic altercation going on in an apt across the complex, that I could hear clear as a bell. The female told me not to call...(of course)... Took sheriff cars 40 mins to arrive. Meanwhile, another neighbor got the men in the altercation to leave. The sheriff talked to the victim about 5 minutes before leaving. I gotta wonder sometimes what good it does to call. But, then again, what if no one does call???
