Our minds are designed to have a naturally built in process of actively analyzing incoming information and triggering previous memories. We should truly examine every thought and ask ourselves: is this good for me to think on this and dwell on it? Is this something that pleases the Lord or pleases the devil? One way to tell if your thoughts are lies from the devil or truth from the Lord is to simply add “in Jesus name” after each thought. Taking each thought captive, all 30.000 to 70.000 a day to the obedience of Christ,( 2 Corinthians 10:5) For example if you were to hear yourself say, I am such a reject no one really cares for me - in Jesus name. Rather obvious which Kingdom a toxic thought like that comes from and it needs to be cast out. If we add in Jesus name after a positive thought it will harmonise with the Word God and within our spirits. The Lord Jesus said in Luke 11:34,The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. 35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. 36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
