Called CDC this morning and reported Laylas status. The good news is that the Virus runs about 10 days- We are at day 7. They said watch her closely- not all kids need to be hospitalized, only if they cant breathe or have a history of asthma- Her Dr. is treating her correctly by putting her on a high dosage Z pack- and keeping fever controlled with motrin. They did say if she doesnt improve in the next two days, other steps could be necessary such as hospitalization. NOW WE WAIT. Keep us in your prayers and positive thoughts.
