Called the Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) report line yesterday to report a poacher on the Rockfish Conservation Area off of Bowyer Island. 10 minutes later I get a call back from DFO. "Where is Bowyer Island"....sigh We have spotted this poacher half a dozen times, we report him and DFO has yet to send enforcement. Note that this is a very frequented dive site that we have attached a mooring buoy for diving on. The poacher is ruining it for all of us.
