Calm and mild frost greeted Christmas arrival on the island this year. Old snow covers the ground and it crackles and breaks under your feet as you move along. Perhaps the only sound you hear for miles. It is Christmas day. We have come over the hectic of preparations and are ready to take on the joy of togetherness open arms.
