Cam Cossette, a senior pitcher at Milford High School, has put together two phenomenal efforts on the mound in the past week to help send Milford into the postseason once again. In his last two starts hes thrown 13 innings, allowing just 2 earned runs, and striking out 19 batters. After a 4-8 start, the Milford HS team has reeled off six consecutive wins to make it to the state tournament. Cam is a huge reason for their current run, battling through two pitchers duels to pick up the Ws. Here are the write-ups in the Metrowest Daily News: MILFORD 2, HOPEDALE 1: Senior right-hander Cam Cossette went the distance, allowing just four hits while striking out nine as Milford (10-8) qualified for the postseason by edging non-league opponent Hopedale (5-11). MILFORD 4, SHARON 2: Cam Cossette struck out 10 in six innings, allowing one earned run for the Scarlet Hawks (7-8, 6-7 Hockomock League).
