Cambodia Attracts Over 90 Nationalities of Foreign Tourists AKP Phnom Penh, July 11, 2013 – Cambodia has so far attracted over 90 nationalities of foreign tourists from all over the world, according to a report released by the Ministry of Tourism on Tuesday. During the first five months of 2013, some 1.79 million foreign tourists visited Cambodia, an increase by 19 percent if compared with the same period last year. Of the foreign tourists, Vietnamese visitors were ranked top – 341,000 (up 11 percent) – followed by 215,200 South Korean (up 5 percent) and 202,400 Chinese (up 53 percent), said the report. Moreover, most of the foreign tourists to Cambodia are from Northeast Asia such as China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan as well as the ASEAN region, while visitors from Africa and the Middle East remain in small number, it added.
