Cameron Burnes is actively developing a career as a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed throughout Europe including Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland, and as a soloist he has participated in competitions in Australia, Taiwan, USA, and Canada. He received his Bachelor of Music in 2011 at the University of Sydney Conservatorium of Music where he studied with Andrew Barnes. Cameron went to New Caledonia on tour with the universities orchestra, and subsequently met his current teacher Yoshiuki Ishikawa. Cameron is currently completing a Masters of Music Performance and Pedagogy degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In July he will be returning to Australia for limited engagements with the Australian Youth Orchestra (AYO) and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
