Camp name: FUN WITH KIDS Ganja,Azerbaijan BF-02 Type: KIDS Who: 25 international participants, ages 16-28 When: June 10-July 24, 2013 Location: Ganja; Mingachevir 70 km, Togana 50 km Train Station: Ganja Airport: Ganja or Baku Accommodation: In Guest House , it is not necessary to bring sleeping bags or mat. Catering: Meals will be prepared as a group Project: Volunteers will organize entertainment and games for children on orphanage campus to productively spend their summer holiday, realize excursion programs and organize various interesting clubs, painting workshops, exibitions on children hand crafts, and festivals displaying talents of children. Volunteers will also provide psychologically supportive conversation for women living with little children of campus and looking after them. Free Time: Additionally, there are monuments, architecture, museums, cafes and restaurants. Ancient Albanian Church, Russian Orthodox Church, many old German churches, Shah Abbas mosque, Nizami Mausoleum can be visited in Ganja. Participants can play basketball, football, volleyball (all games possible), walk around city, hiking, biking, bowling, play group games, activities etc. Location: This is the second largest city and one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Twice it was the capital of Azerbaijan. The city is particularly well known for its splendid nature, landscapes of Minor Caucasus mountain range, green forests, and rivers running down to the valleys. The nature of Ganja is a peculiar exhibition of beauty which generates human enthusiasm and excitement. It is especially fine in spring, early summer and in autumn. REQUIREMENTS: Camp will be English (volunteers with Russian and Turkish language skills additionally will be given priority). Participant Fee: 55 Euro
